Thursday, June 27, 2024 – The Integrated Field Practice activity for students of the Aquaculture Study Program in the Even Semester 2023/2024 was conducted on June 27, 2024, at BUMDes Bumi Pacellekang Sejahtera, Gowa Regency. The activity was part of the Freshwater Aquaculture Management course (MANAKTA) and was attended by the course lecturers, Dr. Ir. Gunarto Latama, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. Ir. Siti Aslamyah, M.P.
The students were warmly welcomed by the Head/Director of BUMDes, Mr. Syawaluddin DG. Bate, along with several staff members. The students were then provided with materials on freshwater lobster culture (Cherax quadricarinatus) and conducted direct observations at the freshwater lobster farming site.
