In an effort to enhance freshwater lobster production in Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, in collaboration with BUMDes Bumi Pacellekang Sejahtera, conducted a community service activity in Pacellekang Village, Pattallassang District, Gowa Regency.
The activity took place on Saturday, February 24, 2024.The event was attended by the village head, the director of BUMDes, the head of the freshwater lobster unit, supervisors, and several freshwater lobster farmers in Pacellekang Village. The resource person for this activity was Prof. Dr. Ir. Haryati Tandipanyuk, M.S., who delivered material on broodstock feed for freshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus). Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Badraeni, M.P., presented material on water quality in freshwater lobster aquaculture.
