Makassar, April 30, 2025 – The Faculty of Marine Science and Fisheries (FIKP), Hasanuddin University, held a leadership meeting at Saoenk Cobek Perintis. The meeting was led directly by the Dean of FIKP, Prof. Safruddin, S.Pi., M.P., Ph.D., and was attended by the Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Heads of Study Programs, as well as other structural officials within the faculty.
This leadership meeting is a routine agenda that serves as a platform for evaluating the implementation of work programs and formulating strategies for the development of the university’s tridharma, namely education, research, and community service.
In his remarks, the Dean of FIKP emphasized the importance of synergy among all structural elements of the faculty to ensure the smooth implementation of academic processes and the achievement of performance targets. In addition, the meeting also served as a cross-unit coordination forum in preparation for various agendas, including student activities, integrated community service programs, and the strengthening of partnerships with industry and local government to support the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.
As part of the commitment to improving performance, the meeting also included the signing of performance agreements between the Heads of Study Programs and the Dean of FIKP.
The activity concluded with a call to continuously maintain communication, collaboration, and commitment to the vision and mission of FIKP in producing graduates who are excellent, possess integrity, and are capable of addressing challenges in the marine and fisheries sector at the national level.
