
Wednesday, November 20, 2024 – Dr. Khor Wai Ho is a lecturer from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. He is both a lecturer and researcher in the Aquaculture program, with expertise in crustacean breeding and biotechnology, larval rearing, and population health.
Dr. Wai Ho delivered a comprehensive lecture on reproductive physiology in aquatic organisms, covering topics such as the evolution of invertebrates and vertebrates, sexual and asexual reproduction, various types of fertilization, oogenesis, spermatogenesis, broadcast spawning, brooders, pair spawning, mass spawning, and the developmental stages of aquatic organisms, all within the scope of aquatic organism physiology.

The session also included a question-and-answer and discussion segment involving both lecturers and students. Two lecturers, Prof. Yushinta Fujaya and Dr. Andi Aliah Hidayani, also participated actively in the discussion.
